Presentation

LAURA IS WORLD CHAMPION OF BOULDERING AND YOUTH LEAD 2019

Now 18, Laura has been climbing since she was 4. As soon as the school bell rings, she rushes to the metro station to make her way across Rome to the climbing gym. Laura has always been coached by Alessandro Marocchi, whose vigilant eye helps her to coordinate her training. He is delighted at her progress.

Her first fans were of course her parents. They initially supported her in competitions and then, as soon as possible, the whole family would head for the Alps and the cliffs closest to home. What she loves above all is to climb outdoors, which is also the best way to train and to achieve good results, like leading the rankings in the European Boulder and Lead Youth Cups.

She is also one of the youngest women to have on-sighted 8b (Batuka at Margalef and Codigo Norte at Santa Linya). In 2017, close to a year after climbing Grandi Gesti, Laura climbed her second 9a with Joe-Cita at Oliana, in Spain.

This is an impressive CV for such a young climber, which is why Agripp decided to support Laura and strengthen her confidence in her own abilities.
