  • What kind of climbing do you usually do ?

I like every kind of climbing but mostly bouldering.

  • What gives you the most fun when route setting?

I love the process of routesetting in competition, find the perfect balance between creativity, show and ranking.

  • What angle of wall do you prefer to set on?

30° walls where you can have a perfect mix between technical and physical movements.

  • What style of climbing do you prefer to set?

I like to propose problems in which the climber have to learn and understand something.

  • How do you make a route awesome?

          aesthetic, emotions and funny movements.

  • What is the important thing for you when choosing climbing holds?

I see routesetting like an artistic job, the climbing holds are our paint so they need to be visually attractive by the shape and colours.

  • Can you give us your view of the trend towards volumes in wood and fiberglass?

Wood volumes and fibreglass are really usefull in this artistic ways, they help to create visual problems and open many possibilities on walls by changing the visual and the angles.

  • Can you give us your opinion on the evolution of indoor climbing?

Indoor climbing changed a lot in the past few years because climbing is now easy to access with all those new climbing gyms. I think it’s a really good thing because a lot of people can now discover this practice in very good conditions. Climbing gyms are involved into create the best climbing experience in every level for their customers with the best holds and professional routesetters.

  •  Do international competitions influence your choice of holds or volumes?

Yes because i set mostly in competition and for training camps so we need to be in the trend.
